Client and target research Managing the preparation of pitches Training and rehearsing partners in pitch related skills Maintaining and arranging regular updates of the standard pitch information, including CVs and experience statements Attending business development meetings and managing associated administrative activities Managing major business development initiatives Managing the external events, including planning, organisation and promotion, budget management, venue research and selection, on-the-day event management and subsequent follow up and evaluation for certain business groups Ensuring that appropriate administration procedures and systems are introduced and maintained to support effective business development activities and follow up Maintaining the property sections on the website Keeping the relevant sections of the intranet updated Organising mailings, targeting and promotions using InterAction Providing regular reports to the Marketing Manager Assisting with other activities as required General: Taking an active interest in the business objectives of the practice and keeping up to date with relevant external developments Acting as an advocate of the marketing department and educating fee-earners about marketing approaches and activities Helping the Marketing Manager and other marketing executives where appropriate Hours of work: The LLP's core hours of work are 0900 to 1715 hours Monday to Friday inclusive. The ability to work flexible hours on a regular basis is essential. Salary and benefits: Salary reviewed annually in May. There will be 25 days holiday pa.
