Our client is a dynamic, growing Consumer PR Agency working for a number of Consumer clients. They are looking for an experienced PR Account Manager to work in fast-paced, busy press office on UK based and international brands. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player, with experience of managing junior members of staff. THE ROLE - Develop and maintain close contact with clients - Create first class media contacts for all clients - Sell-in features to the media - Manage image and product requests - Generate regular new ideas to create coverage - Develop annual, strategic programmes for clients - Write releases, newsletters, features, ads, etc - Write and distribute progress reports - Attend and chair client meetings - Media evaluations and presentation to clients - Manage budgets, time-sheets and 3rd party suppliers - Research and develop new business opportunities - Prepare pitch documents - Attend and chair new business presentations - Manage junior team and delegate work effectively - Mentor, support and evaluate junior staff - Attend internal team meetings and staff meetings - Support Account Director/Managing Director Some international travel may be required, and languages - specifically German, Italian, Spanish or French - are beneficial |
