Our client is a leading PR agency in FMCG and Leisure industries. They are looking for a Senior Account Director with a minimum of five years PR agency experience to joining their team of 20+, working on an enviable client. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent press contacts and relationships - Good understanding of UK media -consumer, trade, online, broadcast - High level of written and verbal communications - Efficient time management - Ability to write, monitor and adhere to budgets - Strong negotiation and pitch skills - Strategic and creative thinking in commercial market - First-class delegation skills and team management - Professional, enthusiastic attitude towards developing themselves and the agency
The role will involve:
- Full understanding of client business and broader agency issues - Quality control over existing PR programmes and development of campaigns - Development of new strategies and initiatives on behalf of clients - Overseeing and monitoring level of work produced by junior team members - Directing, training, developing and appraising team members - Maintaining and/or increasing profitability on all clients - Handling issues and crisis management on behalf of agency and clients - Development of new business opportunities and pitch proposals - Reporting to and taking direction from senior management
