Furniture Sprayer / Polisher

Our client based in St Ives are looking for a full-time permanent Furniture Sprayer / Polisher to join them.  You will be working Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm.

In this Furniture Sprayer / Polisher role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that items meet the highest standards of quality before they reach customers.  It is essential that you already have experience of using a spray gun.  Day to day duties will include:-

Preparing furniture for polishing / spraying.
Spray / polish furniture to the required quality standard.
Colour match different polish colours and different types of timber.
Pressure spray to apply polish and lacquer applications.
You will prepare and treat a variety of timbers / materials.
You will be finishing items ready for dispatch.
Operate power tools and hand tools to polish and finish materials.
Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and products.
Assemble components as required, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use.

To be considered for this Sprayer / Polisher you will be a fully experienced professional Sprayer / Polisher

Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to polishing tasks.
Experienced in painting / polishing techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Have a full clean driving licence.
